We will not ask for your name if you register for MI Parenting Resource, but we will collect personal information such as your email address, county, ZIP code, demographic information (age, ethnicity, etc.), child’s demographic information (age, ethnicity, etc.), and more as part of our research program on effective parenting strategies and programs. We also collect some non-personal information from visitors such as browser, computer type, etc. which lets us improve our website and learn about visitors to optimize our site. Any personal data you provide will ONLY be used to contact you about the MI Parenting Resource Program. We will NEVER share, sell, or otherwise give your data to others for marketing purposes. In any sort of report we might publish from our research, we will remove any personal information (such as your email address) that would make it possible to identify a participant.

If, despite the language of the consent, it is found that information is collected from a child below the age of 18, that Personal Information would be removed from our records immediately.

We use your Personal Information to provide parenting services to you and to communicate with you by email, track visitor utilization of the site, and market our program.

Personal Information we gather is for internal use only and we will not authorize the release of this information to anyone outside MI Parenting Resource, except as clearly described below.

- Google Analytics – MI Parenting Resource uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyze how individuals use websites they visit. Non-personal information generated by this cookie about your use of MI Parenting Resource’s website is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google does not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Google uses this information to understand how you use MI Parenting Resource’s website, and compiles reports on this activity to help us improve our site for our users. By using MI Parenting Resource’s website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google for these purposes.
